Hi,
We meet again in my blog. I want to tell about how I spent weekend in Summer.

At September 4, I got holiday because that was a labour day. If we got 3 days holiday(saturday,sunday and monday) they called it long weekend. At saturday, I went with Henry, he is Tena’s brother. We watched movie in theater (we watched miami vice) and then we spent the rest of the day with his friends, because he didn’t meet his friends for about few weeks (Henry is a truck driver, that’s why he spent many of his time in road).So he wants to gather with his friends. His friends are motorcycle drivers (the big one, like harley davidson) and we met them in Tim Houston (coffe shop). I just listened their conversation for a few hours (that was tired, too much new information because I don’t know anything about the topics). After it finished, I went to home and prepared to another gathering at sunday(prepare mean forget anything what I had listened today, hehe).

There was young family BBQ event in the church,at 12 o’clock at noon, and the BBQ event was held in pastor’s house, so I and my host family come to the BBQ event. BBQ in Canada means(at least in Winkler and Winnipeg) you BBQ the hamburger meat. And we just eat hamburger and salad and (the most delicious one) desert. And people just talk each other and the kids was playing. And I just listened, yeah sometimes I talked but not like in Indonesia for sure.(for anybody know me, must be feel strange why I can silent for long time. I feel the same,that’s why I chat almost every night,haha ).  After the event done,  we have another gahtering outside Winkler (in the farm house) with another person. And we ate another hamburger(oh my…). And again I enjoy just the desert. We ate strawberry tart….nyam3x,hihi. Peoples talk about church policy etc.etc. Lucky me we didn’t have another gathering at monday. But……..

We cleaned the back yard at monday. I lawn the grass with lawn machine (even you use the machine, it’s still take a lot of time and energy). We make some of the yard as garden, so we make a garden with another machine (I don’t know  the name. "pokoke buat membajak") That was really hard. The machine have 2 transmisions and you can adjust it. But it was hard to dig the dirt (they called "tanah" as dirt). So I couldn’t do it and Peter did it. And we cut some of the apple trees, and we throw the garbage to the compos and garbage dump. I mean we went to the compos dump and garbage dump by ourselves. All of it really take a lot of time. We did it just a day long. It was fun to learn something new.  What a weekend……

MCC had MCC Relief Sale  in Morris at September 9. MCC relief sale is a money rising event. They got the items from donation and then they sell it. They sell Quilt(it is hand made blanket ),crafts,produce(vegetables and fruits),electronics(second hand), even tractor and grain bin(I can’t explain about grain bin, if you want to know what it is, you can see it in http://www.mcc.org/manitoba/morrisreliefsale/auction.html).My host parents and I became the volunteers of this  event in produce division. At thursday night(september 7), I and Peter went to Morris by truck (Peter drove the truck, the big one). We delivered produces from Winkler(donation from peoples). When we arrived, MCC staffs still ‘build’ the tent. It was a big tent, the size about 40×20 meters. So we helped them and the wind so strong and cold, it became harder to stand the tent in the strong wind. And I can’t hadled the cold(probably about 9 degree) and I just use the light jacket because the plan was just delivered the truck and we went home with another car. I can’t even feel my hand. For 2 hours we build the tent and it was done at 9-10 pm. And that night I was chatting until 2.30 am(my fault anyway).

In friday I and Tena must went to Morris again to help at 8am. And it takes 45 minutes between Morris and Winkler. So we must go at least 7.15 am. And I just slept about 3 hours. In Morris
I have to carried stuf and alot of another job. And there was one old guy who gave the orders(he was not the leader or the person in charge) and act like a leader. He really made us nerve (me and another young man named Jake) because there was a leader and he already gave order(I think he  was a leader in his job before he retired and it named post power syndrome,hehe). There were so many goods and many of potatoes, About 200 bags of 50 lbs(22,7kg) potatoes and hundreds of 10 lbs.So I worked until 6pm and arrived in winkler about 7pm.

At saturday (september 9) we went to the Morris at 7.30am and they wanted me to help carry potatoes from inside the tent to the entrance of the tent if someone bought them.(that was quite far if you have to carry that much all day long,hiks hiks). And I spent my day carried potatoes and helped the other things until the relief sale done. I went home at 6 pm with all of my body hurts,especially my hand,hehehe.

September 10, we got another gathering in Winnipeg and guest what,my host parents became volunteer to prepared the BBQ.So we went to winnipeg after to the church(about 1,5-2 hours from winkler to winnipeg). And I carried some stuff again (the positive thing was the stuff weight was below 50 lbs,wakakakak). I met with another IVEPers and Hardy and Social Workers. And we all got MCC shirt(I already had one when I helped MCC booth in Morden, so now I have 2 MCC shirts). We played frizbie(don’t know how to spell it) and ate hamburger(again).And (again) the dessert really good (I really will become fat in Canada).

I don’t know how my feeling right now (the other feeling beside tired and hurts I mean),  even I was enjoying  the things happen in my life,  sometimes  I am just  boring (and torture by the cold weather,hehe). I know why I am boring(because I can’t ‘cerewet’ anymore). I hope I can ‘cerewet’ in english in a short time. Tired become ‘plegmatis’ and I want to become ’sanguin’ again. So, don’t surprise when I really ‘cerewet’ at YM,hehehe. Right now just YM ‘pelampiasan cerewetku’.
